A Little About Me

My family and I live in a small town called Pinon in the heart of Navajo Nation where my wife and I work as teachers. She teaches music and drama and I teach history and Spanish. Together we have a wonderful son who is the joy of our lives.

My son Xander is the inspiration for a lot of my books. I want him to grow up educated with a love for reading. A lot of the books are bedtime stories or poems, many composed on the spot as I have tried to put him to sleep.

Our animal rescue efforts have also inspired a few of my children's books with the hope that the next generation will be more responsible with their animals.

Other projects that I've published have been works in progress for years and are much more intensive. I've written books for many different audiences, my son the baby, middle school and high school ages and up, and adults.

I've been story telling since I was five and its something that I'm going to continue to do so long as I have a pulse.
